Our Mission

Students at Brown are expected to integrate intellectual pursuits with real-world experiences in order to expand their knowledge, nurture their talents, and develop their core values. The Career Development Center supports this integrative work by engaging a range of collaborators both on campus and off.

Our mission is to help undergraduate and graduate students build their capacities — and their networks and opportunities — so that they can translate their Brown education into lives of meaning and purpose.

The goal of the CDC is to:

• engage students in confidential, candid, and challenging conversations about their lives after Brown
• offer resources and services that will help students succeed in their chosen paths
• collect and evaluate data on industry trends and student outcomes in order to provide better service to the campus community
