Get Involved

There are many ways to give back to the Brown community and get involved with students via the Career Development Center.

Create and/or offer opportunities for Brown students

recruit on campus
post jobs
post internship opportunities—general and Brown-specific
participate in a career fair (on site and virtual)

Help and support Brown students

be a mentor
provide a job shadowing experience
offer informational interviews via BRUnet
be a guest speaker/presenter (in person or remotely)
participate in a knowledge area, industry or skill-based workshop, panel discussion
conduct mock interviews
become an employer/expert in residence
contribute content for the CDC web site (voices from the field, blogs, etc.)
provide funding for the Brown Internship Award Program [BIAP]

Host events

CDC and Brown alumni clubs can partner to sponsor networking events and special programs
host Summer in the City events for interns
sponsor/host other special events
