Get Involved
There are many ways to give back to the Brown community and get involved with students via the Career Development Center.
Create and/or offer opportunities for Brown students
- recruit on campus
- post jobs
- post internship opportunities—general and Brown-specific
- participate in a career fair (on site and virtual)
Help and support Brown students
- be a mentor
- provide a job shadowing experience
- offer informational interviews via BRUnet
- be a guest speaker/presenter (in person or remotely)
- participate in a knowledge area, industry or skill-based workshop, panel discussion
- conduct mock interviews
- become an employer/expert in residence
- contribute content for the CDC web site (voices from the field, blogs, etc.)
- provide funding for the Brown Internship Award Program [BIAP]
Host events
- CDC and Brown alumni clubs can partner to sponsor networking events and special programs
- host Summer in the City events for interns
- sponsor/host other special events
