Register for Career Fairs
Career Fairs, sponsored by the Career Development Center and held on campus during the academic year, are amongst the most effective ways for employers to identify and meet qualified internship and job candidates. All students are encouraged to attend career fairs to explore a range of career opportunities, to network, and to pursue internship or career opportunities.
You may use career fairs as your only on-campus recruiting activity; however, they are most successful when combined with on-campus interviews, information sessions or employer workshops. When your organization participates in a career fair it gains valuable exposure—the career fairs are marketed broadly through a variety of venues, including our website, the Brown Daily Herald and newsletters.
The CDC sponsors two careers fairs in late September, and in the spring we hold one career fair in late-February or early March. Our career fairs are not industry specific and are promoted as informational events and career exploration opportunities.
To register for our career fairs, please log on to Brown Career Connection and search for the fair by date under the career events tab. Click the blue link to the right of the event that says “register” and follow the prompts to complete the registration. Please note that your request was submitted, but your participation will not be confirmed until approved by a member of the Employer Relations team.
The for-profit organization fee is $600 and the non-profit organization fee is $150. This fee includes a table with two chairs, lunch and refreshments throughout the afternoon.
If you have any questions regarding the career fairs, please call 401-863-3342.
