Strategies for Successful Recruiting
Companies that are the most successful in hiring Brown students have a strong campus presence. In addition to traditional recruiting activities, many of these firms also engage in nontraditional ways, such as participating in alumni or industry panels, working with target student populations or student organizations, and sponsoring internships. Another program that students enjoy is the Employer-in-Residence program, where small groups of students pre-register to meet with company representatives and engage in conversations that may not otherwise take place in a more formal setting. Advertising through various media is also an excellent way to build and maintain a campus presence. It is our commitment to help each company design a strategy to maximize recruiting success.
