Interfolio Credential Service

The Brown University Career Development Center announces a transition from our Dossier Service to Interfolio, the premier online credential file management service for universities. In keeping with the Brown is Green initiative, this electronic service will replace Brown's paper dossier system on July 1, 2009.

With Interfolio you can:

• Submit letters of recommendation online or via mail.
• Retain access to uploaded documents by creating your personal letter writer’s account.
• Edit and verify the authenticity of your documents.

Interfolio is FERPA-compliant and uses multiple layers of security to ensure that confidential documents stay that way. Students cannot read closed or confidential letters. Robust technological safeguards, including SSL encryption, keep documents secure. Digital backups of all documents are stored at a secure, off-site location.
