Career Fairs

Career Fairs, sponsored by the Career Development Center and held on campus during the academic year, are amongst the most effective ways for employers to identify and meet qualified internship and job candidates. Many Brown alumni return to campus to represent their employers and share their work experience. All students are encouraged to attend career fairs to explore a range of career opportunities, to network, and to pursue internship or job opportunities.

In the fall we hold two career fairs in late September, and in the spring we hold one career fair in late-February to mid-March. Our career fairs are not industry-specific and are promoted as informational events and career exploration opportunities.

To make the best impression at the career fairs, please be sure to dress in business casual (middle ground between business formal wear and street wear—no suits/no jeans). Additionally, if you are utilizing the career fair for reasons beyond career exploration, it is important to have a resume handy.

To view who is attending our career fairs, please check our website for updates. If there are employers of particular interest to you, make sure you research them thoroughly before attending the fair so you can demonstrate your interest in and knowledge of the organization.
