On-campus Interviews

Using Brown Career Connection, you will be able to upload your resume, cover letter and transcript, and apply to various internship positions through the system. Additionally, you will be able to monitor your application status, and if selected for an interview, you may sign up for a time slot in the system.

Most on-campus interviews are held at the Career Development Center on the second floor. Interviews can range anywhere from a half hour to an hour and a half long, and can be a variety of styles—general questions, case studies, or testing.

The Career Development Center holds workshops and programs to help students prepare for the application and interview process.

There are fewer opportunities posted in the system for first and second year students; however, this does not mean that there is no possibility of being selected for an interview. Employers often gear their internship opportunities to juniors; therefore, it is very important to plan ahead. It is important to note that a large number of employment offers for the following year come from an internship opportunity.
