Job Postings

Employers are able to post opportunities for Brown students and alums in a variety of ways. For campus recruiting, internship and job listings are posted in Brown Career Connection. Employers engaged in campus recruiting are specifically looking to hire Brown students, with start dates that typically begin the summer following the listing. Employers that wish to conduct on-campus interviews will have interview schedules attached to their listings. Students upload their application materials in the system, employers select their interview candidates, and the selected students can then sign up for interview slots. (See On-Campus Interviews) However, there are many positions in Brown Career Connection without schedules; students upload their application materials and employers will contact the students directly regarding next steps.

Another excellent resource for job opportunities is the Brown to Brown listserv. Every year hundreds of pre-screened positions are posted to the listserv and sent via email to its subscribers. These positions are either entry-level or require some work experience, but employers are looking to fill them immediately as opposed to during the following summer. Many of the positions come from Brown alumni, who hope to hire fellow Brunonians into their companies.
