Meet with a Counselor

Schedule a confidential appointment with a career counselor to receive information and assistance with self assessment, career exploration, reality testing and devising strategies for success. Other topics may include:

  • Strengthening decision making skills
  • Researching industries and possible career choices
  • Setting goals and implementing career plans
  • Presenting you with brief overviews of our most current and valuable resources

Students should call the reception desk at 401-863-3326 to schedule an in-person or telephone appointment. Appointments are available during business hours (8:30 am-5:00pm) Monday-Friday.

Walk-in Services

The Career Development Center offers walk-in service to Graduate Students.

Stop by for quick questions, resume or cover letter critiques and other quick questions. Career Counselors and Peer Career Advisors will assist you on a first come, first served basis. Computers are also available to access online resources.
