The Career Development Center now offers walk-ins two ways—in-person and online via IM Chat!
Walk-in Hours at the CDC Library
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
2:00 – 4:00pm
Stop by for quick questions, resume or cover letter critiques and other quick questions. Career Counselors and Peer Career Advisors will assist you on a first come, first served basis. Computers are also available to access online resources.
IM Walk-ins
Monday and Friday
2:00 – 4:00pm
To get connected, log into your gmail account and invite browncareercounselor@gmail.com to chat. A career counselor will be right with you to help with any quick questions and concerns. If you don't have a gmail account, you can create one in just a few easy steps.
Please Note: Mondays and Fridays are IM Walk-ins ONLY. If you wish to speak with someone in-person, please visit us Tuesday through Thursday, or call our office at 401.863.3326 to schedule an individual appointment with a career counselor.
Advising Central Walk-in Hours

Join us for walk-in at Advising Central, located on the second floor of J. Walter Wilson Hall. As with our normal walk-ins, you can ask quick questions or have your resume and cover letter critiqued. Drop in and speak with an advisor.
