Volunteer opportunities

Volunteering is not only an excellent way to test the waters in any field of interest, but can also open doors to potential internship and job opportunities. Your involvement in the community will lead to contacts and mentoring relationships that will help you explore career options and discover opportunities. Finally, volunteering will enable you to gain experience, develop and strengthen a variety of skills, and will also help you gain more information about the role(s) you would like to play in social change.

The Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown - a gateway to resources, events, and ideas on service and social change. The Swearer Center offers many opportunities to commit to direct action and to integrate action with intellectual inquiry and scholarship.
